There's different definitions of 'healthy' but the guidelines I use for myself are that it should be (1) balanced with some meat, some veg in every meal, (2) not too many simple carbs (pasta or potato is fine in any one meal but it shouldn't be every meal), (3) minimal added sugar/fat/salt and (4) small serving size. For me the serving size is the most important one that is often overlooked. I think you can achieve a much more healthy diet by cutting the amount of food you eat than by cutting out any particular type of food.

      Potato Soup
Has anyone got a good recipe for potato soup please? Alternatively suggest what to do with some wrinkly old potatoes which have grown roots already?...
