  • Bacon-wrapped filet mignon

    I'm thinking I should par-cook the bacon for a few minutes in the oven before wrapping to make sure it gets cooked through.

    Thoughts?

    Try not to cook it too much, since it'll cook some more.

      I like my steaks rarer than I like my bacon, so I microwave the bacon on a paper towel till it begins to bleed fat, but is not anywhere near crisp.
