I was helping a girl from India the other day to make a pie crust. She didn't have any idea what "shortening".."Crisco"...or "lard" was. We finally settled on a product that she knew....called Ghee. Since then I have learned a little more about. I guess it is kind of like "clarified butter". Has anyone here used it?
