When you find a little hair in your meal

what do you do? Simply take the hair out, and carry on with the meal? Reject the meal altogether? Fire at the person who prepared the meal? How do you react? I have no other alternative but to take out the hair and little portion of meal along with it, and then proceed with the meal!

If this happens to me in a restaurant, I just notify the waitor or waitress and send the meal back.

I generally remove the hair and keep eating. If there was more then one I might send it back. I don't have patience to wait for another meal if it was sent back...

You'd think that they would try to avoid making you wait longer by not letting that happen in the first place.

And they're supposed to wear hairnets or hats.

I would just eat around it or if there is a waiter near by ill say something.

Well I can say when this happened at a certain food establishment near where I went to college I took the food back for a refund. This hair wasn't specifically from up there if you know what I mean. So needless to say I had no problem getting a refund when it was obvious that an employee put it there. And I promise I did nothing to deserve this :cool:.

Something very similar to your experience also happened to me. My Thai salad with skewered shrimp was brought to the table with a black hair wrapped around one of the shrimps....BLEH!!! I had to send it back....

The waitress offered to bring me a new salad, but I'd lost my appetite so the meal was refunded. I've never returned to that restuarant.
