Kraft has a bagle with cream cheese in it. it's a little roll, much like an egg roll, and they have all flavors. I usually pop mine in the toaster at work and it's really good. :)

or I have my oatmeal.

My old time favourite for breakfast is: black olives together with feta cheese, boiled egg, organic tomatoes and cucumber with black tea. Maybe little jam on bread to finish off the breakfast. yum yum...

Lately, I really enjoy having oatmeal pancakes for breakfast. You take 2 white eggs and mix them with a scoop of protein powder, 4 tablespoons of organic oatmeal cereals and half of banana sliced. You fry the mixture in a bit of olive oil and eat it with berries. It is tasty and also gives you energy.

This morning it is a homemade Egg McMuffin -- Toasted English muffin, canadian bacon, cheese (cut round with a muffin ring) and egg cooked inside a round english muffin ring.

When I get more freezer space I will be making these in advance and alternating the meat used between bacon, canadian bacon, sausage, or ham. Then its just a matter of poppin' in the microwave to heat up.

Six days a week I eat a bowl of cold organic cereal with sliced banana, whole-wheat toast, and a glass of premium orange juice. Sundays, I eat two scrambled eggs, two veggie sausage patties, and two slices of whole-wheat toast with my glass of orange juice.

When I was growing up, we used to have home made soup for breakfast, some mornings. I am going to try that now that it is getting colder here in north of England UK.

I'm not a huge breakfast fan and 9 times out of 10 I will skip it. I know that's not very healthy but I can't seem to bring myself to eat when I get up. On the odd occasion I have breakfast I will have a bowl of cereal or bacon and eggs!

I wonder why so many of us skip breakfast? I know I'm not hungry when I wake up, but come mid morning I'm starving, which is the time I eat. I've tried eating earlier & my French students always told me:
Eat breakfast like a King
Lunch like a Knight
Dinner like a pauper
I have to say they are all slim jims!

I have recently been introduced to soy flour which has opened up so many possibilities to some one who is on a low carb low fat diet. The recipe tastes good with a little bit of smart balance and just a tad of light syrup! Try it out!

cup soy flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 c egg beater
1 tbs smart balance light butter melted
1 cup soy milk
Cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and splenda to taste, might want to add 1/4c of Splenda for sure!

Blend all ingredients together thoroughly and cook as you would regular pancakes, 1/4 cup of batter at a time.

Yeah, but what do you do about all the phytic acid and phytoestrogens in the soy flour?

Doesn't anyone else have better energy when they just don't eat until sundown? For me, breakfast and lunch are serious energy killers.
