MAPLE SYRUP

Hi all, I am looking for a cookie recipe made with maple syrup. If possible, it has to be low fat and low sugar. I was going to experiment and create my own but I don't want to waste the maple syrup in case it does not work for the first time.

How do you achieve "low sugar" using Maple Syrup which is about 60% sugar?

I guess maple syrup is natural sugar so we need to add less sugar to make it low? Maybe I am kidding myself LOL!!!

Found a great recipe for low fat cookies, using Maple syrup at www.fatfreevegan.com
it is by Gary VanGelder and you can adjust the sugar up or down as desired. It is just what I want and cant wait to use my natural, organic Maple syrup.
