Your Favorite Holiday

There are many, many, many holidays in the calendar year, including all sorts of cultural or religious days. Each country also has its own designated days for celebration and the ways of celebrating may be quite different as well. So out of all these special occasions, which one is your absolute favorite? ;)

Christmas would have to be my favorite holiday because after the celebration of Jesus’s birth comes my birthday. I couldn’t think of another holiday which could match up with this one. Can you think of any?

I love Halloween.
It is the start of the whole holiday season.
I love the leaves falling and the cooler temps.

Being American, I really really love Thanksgiving. But I live in Spain and they have a lot of wonderful local holidays here, such as Sant Jordi's Day, which just passed. It's the Catalan version of Valentines (though they celebrate that, too, to a lesser extent), and the tradition is to give your wife or gf a rose, and give your hubby or bf a book. Sweet, huh?
