Most of the stores offer us the chance to take back the equipment we don't like or is not working properly. Do you take it back if you are not pleased or if it fails to work? Do you just get stuck with it?

If you just don't like it and there is nothing wrong with the appliance, especially if you have already used it.....its yours. If the appliance doesn't work, yes you take it back.

Of course there are people in this world that would take it back and lie to the store in order to get their money back, and for that WE ALL PAY for it as higher prices.

I've never taken any cooking item back to the store after buying it, no matter if it wasn't working properly or if it wasn't something I liked. I had some household gadgets bought by my dad as a surprise. I didn't like them at all... I had seen something more modern and interesting in the supermarkets, but I tried to act happy about it and use them for a few months. I would have hurtedhis feelings if I told them I don't like what he bought, athough the first thought that struck my mind was to take them back...

I haven’t been able to take back any equipment at all because they are working fine with me. I’m only using knifes, pans, stoves. It is the most basics that you could find in a common household. I never have bought anyone of those equipments that are used for a few purposes like blenders.

Sometimes i do, yes. Not always, i don't like to be seen as a bad person, even i it is not my fault.
I occasionally take back things but only if they are really broken or they are in a very bad shape.
Of course, before i buy something i look at it very carefully so i won't have to face these situations.
