Southern Chef on Oprah

My memory is very vague and hazy at the moment, so I thought I'd seek some help here. Does anyone remember the lady chef that came on Oprah (I think she appeared more than once) who specializes in Southern cuisine? I think she's from Georgia but I'm not sure. She's very famous. I just can't remember her name right now. :confused:

Maybe you mean Paula Deen? I'm not sure if she's been on Oprah, but I she's very famous and specializes in southern cuisine. Her recipes are REALLY wonderful, actually.

Yes, that's her! Thank you so much. I double checked just to make sure and yes, it says she has been on Oprah, as well as Ellen, Leno, and a lot of other TV shows. Thank you also for the info on her recipes. I'm checking them out soon. ;)

Yep-- I've tried a few of Paula's recipes, and they're great! Just... don't make any of them if you have high cholesterol. It's not exactly the healthiest cooking under the sun! :)
