I have been having a big sort out in my kitchen, I have all sorts of gadgets that I hardly use and I intend to get rid of some because they are taking up valuable cupboard space. Do you have any useless kitchen gadgets? Top of my list to be thrown out are the coffee maker and the omelette maker.

Bottle opener and the handy-dandy spring-loaded food chopper.

I told my grandma some time ago i like to peel the potatoes with a normal knife. still, she insisted in buying me a special peeler, which i hate and i cannot use it. It's to difficult for me, i already got used to the normal knife.
So,, there you go, i have an unwanted device in the kitchen :)

Yes, my kitchen is a clutter and can be quite messy at times. I guess the trick is to simplify and simplify - just like your work desk.

I can only think of one and that is our blender because it is just stock in our kitchen cabinet. WE aren’t been able to use it for long time now. I can’t even remember the last time we used it.
I almost forgot that I have a water heater that hasn’t been used ever since I brought it home. I’m not thinking of throwing it away or giving it away because I’m planning to be bring it to my apartment someday.

Unwanted kitchen gadgets?

This is the first time that I have encountered someone who bought some gadgets and then they will say that they don’t want it. If you don’t like it then why did you buy it on the first place?

But at the time of purchase, there is usually a lot of hype of how good this item is and all the world problems it will solve....."As Seen on TV"..... and you pay your $19.95, $29.95, 3 easy payments of..... and it is not until you actually get and use it for the first time that you realize it is a piece of...... and it gets tossed in a drawer. ROFL

After awhile we learn that anything with a advertised price ending in $0.95 is a sucker hook.

We stop using our electric peeler for a years because it seems to be a dangerous one.

Zester
Garlic Press
Boiled Egg Timers and Gadgets
Honey Server Thingy

I guess just most things that serve only one use where I can substitute something that serves multiple uses. :)

I have to agree the honey server went away a while ago. No egg timers here either. but the garlic press I still use once in a while when I need it and a mandoline slicer.

An old Robot Coup food processor, and old Cuisinart stick blender, an old toaster (the newer one is built into the microwave), and an old Proctor Silex drip coffee maker

Old black and decker blender, and an old toaster. I want a new fangled toaster but dont' think I will get one for quite a while since this one works fine. DANG IT!

I don't think I have anything else as I got rid of a bunch of usless junk when we moved here.

Dag, man!

Get rid of that old toaster and get you one that's more up to date. You own it to yourself. :D

I dumped my perfectly good toaster for a Back To Basics one that will also make my Egg McMuffins in the morning -- poached egg, sausage, and toasted English Muffin -- all ready at the same moment. Well worth the new toaster.
