Do you know a very easy to bake recipe?
There are all kinds of baking recipes, but not all are easy and some are quite hard to ..finish.
In your opinion, what is a easy to make recipe when it comes to baking?

Muffins and corn breads, especially from a box, I consider the easiest.... and also the most rewarding in a short time. Next are cookies.
Hmmm, now I need to make some muffins.

I don't really know what the easiest recipe is, but I think muffins and tarts recipes are quite easy to prepare. I've never baked corn breads and I wouldn't say cookies need so little time to finish... :p

Those things they sell at the store, the muffin mix, etc. Anyone can bake decent bread with those. I know some brands that only take 5 minutes before you put your pan in the oven.

The easiest recipe is, I think, cottage crumpets. In a pot mix flour with warm water and yeast. You leave them to ferment. After that, you need to fry them in girded oil.
Enjoy!

I think maybe coconut pyramids must be one of the easiest things to make. They were the first thing my grandma taught me when I was a child.
1 medium egg
150g (5oz) desiccated coconut
150g (5oz) caster sugar
6 glacé cherries cut in half
Preheat oven to 170ºC/Gas Mark 3 and line a baking tray with non stick baking parchment
gently beat egg, and stir in coconut and sugar.
Divide mixture into 12 portions and mould into pyramid shapes either by hand or using an egg cup
Put half a glace cherry on top of each and bake for 15 minutes until golden.

Here's a recipe that seems complicated at first sight, but it's actually quite easy to prepare. I've tried it several times:
GRISSINI
Ingredients:
2½ teaspoons (1 package) active dry yeast
½ teaspoon sugar
1½ cups (12 fl oz/375 ml) warm water (105°-115°FI 40°-46°C)
3 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for greasing
1½ teaspoons salt
1½ teaspoons dried rosemary
½ cup (2½ ozl 75 g) semolina flour, plus extra for sprinkling
3-3½ cups (15-17½ ozl 470-545 g) unbleached all-purpose (plain) flour,
plus extra as needed
How to make it:
In a small bowl, sprinkle the yeast and sugar over ½ cup (4 fl oz/ 125 ml) of the water and stir to dissolve. Let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes. In a heavy-duty mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the remaining water, the oil, salt, rosemary, semolina flour, and 1 cup (5 oz/155 g) of the all-purpose flour. Beat on medium speed until creamy, about 1 minute. Add the yeast mixture and 1 cup (5 oz/155 g) of the all-purpose flour and beat for another minute. Beat in the remaining all-purpose flour, ½ cup (2½ oz/75 g) at a time, until the dough pulls away from the bowl sides. Switch to the dough hook. Knead on low speed, adding all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon at a time if the dough sticks, until smooth and elastic, about 4 minutes. Sprinkle a board with semolina flour. Pat the dough into a 14-by-8-inch (35-by-20-cm) rectangle. Brush the surface with oil. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise on the board at room temperature until doubled in bulk, 1-1½ hours. Place a baking stone on the center oven rack and preheat to 375°P (190°C). Line three 15-by-12-inch (38-by-30-cm) baking sheets with parchment (baking) paper and brush the paper with oil. Rub the surface of the dough with a few tablespoons of semolina flour. With a sharp knife, cut the dough crosswise into 4 equal portions. One at a time, cut each portion lengthwise into 8 strips. Pick up the end of each strip and stretch and roll to the width of a prepared sheet. Place the strips ½ inch (12 mm) apart on the sheets. One at a time, place the sheets on the stone and bake until the bread sticks are lightly browned and crisp, 16-22 minutes. Transfer to racks to cool completely.

Some excellent recipes in here, thank you for them :)
I am able to bake some simple things, I found out that my bread is pretty decent. And also the chocolate cake I make is not as bad as some might think. In the rest I let my wife be the specialist.

some wonderful Irish soda bread. For those novices out there who panic at the thought of baking a loaf, this is the easiest bread to make, as it involves bicarbonate of soda instead of yeast. It also requires only the gentlest of touches instead of table-bashing kneading. Soda bread is incredibly versatile and can be served fresh with a chunk of cheese and some rhubarb chutney, as toast for breakfast or with soup at lunch.

Probably the first thing I ever baked. (Carrot cake was the second.)
Banana Bread
dry:
1.5 cups flour
.5 cup sugar
1.5 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg (if you've got it & you like it)
wet:
3 ripe bananas
2 med. eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla if you like it & you've got it.
In small bowL, mash the bananas. Add the eggs. Vanilla if you're using it.
In a larger bowl, mix the dry ingredients well. Then slowly stir in the liquid ingredients 'til you've got a reasonably consistent texture, but try not to overmix.
Put in an 8x8" or 9x9" pan. Bake at 350ºF. for 30-40 min. (Test at 30 min.)

Marble cake and plain cake are the most easy one to bake and prepare. Their preparation procedure is very simple and quick. Other easy baking recipe is Pecan Cookies which are prepared and baked in just 30 minutes and have great taste.

I think pound cakes are a fairly easy and quick baking recipe.
Especially the 7-Up Cake!
It requires no leavening agents at all, as it rises on egg power alone. :)

I love to bake cakes, though most of cake recipes require lot of time specially cream cake but I guess simple sponge cake either with mayonnaise or butter is quite easy to bake while on the other hand cookies take much less time then cake like pecan butter cookies.

I would have to vote for cookies (one of my favorite things) and quick breads that use baking powder instead of yeast (banana bread, pumpkin bread, etc.)
They are a a great way to get more comfortable with baking since you just stir the batter together and then pour into a pan and bake.
I also have discovered a great collection of cookie recipes that begin with a cake mix so there is much less mixing and measuring required. Great for kids and new bakers to gain some experience before moving into scratch baking!

You're using frozen bananas? Also, I noticed that there is no shortening in the recipe.

For easy baking, I think you can't beat some good old fashioned scones, covered with jam and cream.
10 mins to make them, 15 to bake them!

Easiest recipe I know is taking a hotdog, wrapping it in pre-made crescent roll and putting it in the oven for a couple minutes - called a pig-in-a-blanket

Apple Pie - takes a bit longer due to peeling, slicing, zesting and juicing (unless you use canned filling)

Easiest thing to bake?
Brussels sprouts! Some sprouts, a little oil, salt n pepper. Toss 'em in the oven, you can be off on the temp, off on the time and they're still okay. How easy is THAT?

The easiest recipe I've ever seen has its roots in either the depression or the war rationing. It has no eggs or dairy. Stories vary, names vary, but the recipe endures.
Crazy Cake (also called Cockeyed Cake)
Sift together directly into a buttered 8 inch square pan:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3 tlbs cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Take your spoon and make 3 holes in the mixture.
Into the largest hole, pour 5 tlbs vegetable oil.
In another, pour 1 tlbs white vinegar.
In the third, pour 1 tsp vanilla.
Pour 1 cup of cold water over the whole thing.
Mix & mash with a fork or spoon until smooth.
Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes.
This is fine unfrosted, or sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, or frost with a simple icing.
