What is your favourite kitchen appliance?



For myself I would have to say the blender, and a breadmaker, although we don't have one at the moment, our last one died.

They are used the most.

My food processor is a MONSTER!! So is my Electrolux DX-2000.

Gotta be my Kitchenaid mixer. I have a black ultrapower that is about 15 years old, I have used the heck out of it and it is still going strong. I also love my new convection range, it is awesome.

Yeah, K'Aid Stand Mixers are monsters in their own right.

Just like my K'Aid K-45SS which will be 23 years old this coming November, and it is STILL working just as beautifully as ever!

Yeah, it's so nice to have a stand mixer that you can really rely on to stand up to the tasks at hand and really Get the Job Done!! :cool: :D

I would definitely have to say my dishwasher is my favorite kitchen appliance. I fill it with dirty dishes as I am cooking the meal, so once we are finished I add our plates, silverware and pans then I can go relax with my husband.

The thing that I like most is that I don't have to prerinse the dishes, glasses, silverware or pots & pans before loading them into the machine, and the extra-hot main wash & the extra-hot final rinse which destroys germs and bacteria - leaving the load sparkling clean and sanitized!

Our new (to us) home had a nice dishwasher recently installed, and what an upgrade from our apartment! It has a soil sensor, so it only runs as long as it needs to, to get the dishes clean, it sanitizes too. I never pre rinse and everything comes out really clean, all while being almost silent.

I really don't like to hand wash dishes so I love the dishwasher!

I only use the dishwasher when I don't feel like washing the dishes by hand. Or when I cook a big meal, or when I have a cold.

I use my Oster (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FHHDQM?ie=UTF8&tag=hellficollec-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000FHHDQM) convection toaster oven at least once a day - have had this one for 6 months now and don't know how I managed with a non-convection oven in the past!
