Do you think that home made pizza is healthier than the one you just order and pay for?
I don't always trust the quality of the ingredients or the way they make the dough, so sometimes i prefer to eat pizza made at home entirely from scratch.
What do you prefer?

I preffer the ordered pizza, the one prepared in a restaurant, because I have never succeded in making a delicious pizza and neither has any cook I know. Of course home made pizzas can be quite a treat if the recipe is followed with detailed precision, but the restaurant pizza cooks have experience and perhaps better cooking devices (expensive ovens, rotating knives etc.) and skills. I don't think ordered pizza is unhealthy and, if it's a popular restaurant, I completly trust them because they wouldn't risk loosing their customers by failing at health department aspect.

I think that they are healthier only if you are putting some healthy ingredients on it. It’s up to you what to put in it; you are responsible for anything that you will be making.

Now, I prefer to cook my own pizza because I can definitely save much money and I can eat as much as I can.

You can never say that a food is healthier only if is prepared on your kitchen because it all depends on the ingredient and how do you cook it. I think that an Italian pizza is healthy to eat because it has pineapple on it.

I disagree. I, too, always prefer a pizza ordered and delivered hot to my door... but I'm aware that it's less healthy than one I would make at home. Why? Because I'm careful about the ingredients that I use, and am concerned not to go overboard on cheese, oil, etc. Pizza Hut and other places don't care about that. They also use lots of preservatives and unnatural ingredients-- I don't. I also use a wheat crust when I make pizza, which is also healthier.

So yeah, it matters what you put on your pizza, of course, but it's MUCH easier to make healthy (and natural) choices when you make pizza at home compared to when you order out.

I always prefer a pizza made at home because it is healthy and the ingredients are high quality, fresh. The ordered pizza it's made a long time ago and you have to warm it at microwaves. In this process the taste of the pizza is lost. I don’t eat pizza ordered, I only eat pizza made at home.

I love homemade pizza!
I don't always cook it, but it is way better than the one we buy.
if i make my own pizza i can put on it whatever i want and i will always know it is fresh and more healthy.
Of course, if i had more time i would do this more often, but since i have other activities, i order some from time to time.

I love eating pizza but I think that I could do a lot of thing on those time that I've spent at my kitchen just to cook some pizza. It would be better for just to order one because I'm very busy at my current job.

If I don't have time to cook the pizza then I will just order one for myself. I think that the homemade ones and those who are made by restaurants has just the same nutrients if they cook it with all the ingredients.

Never cared too much about the healthy stuff, since I do eat junk food from time to time and I am not always pleased with the ideas of cooking the meals when I can have them delivered to my door. Still my pizza is the best, because I know what ingredients to use in it and what to avoid.

Making your own pizza at home is really not that difficult or time-consuming. I think that buying all the toppings takes most of the time. The secret is actually the way you bake it and I don't think that we all have a pizza oven at home . Try to avoid a soggy crust and use a pizza stone. Preheat the stone for an hour before placing the pizza in.

Making pizza at home is actually a pretty fun activity, especially if you invite some friends over and do it together. I baked a huge pan once with everyone putting different things on their slices. It took about an hour.

I've never made pizza at home. I remember my mother preaparing pizza when I was a teenager, but later we would just order... I don't know why... It'n not worth all the trouble when the restaurants serve such wonderful types of pizza. It's not expensive, so I'm mostly for ordering pizza than making it at home. I can't say too much about the health issue though...

That's true. So many of the restaurants make fantastic pizza. However, there's the fun of it that you miss out on if you order from someplace else. There's also those instant ones you can make that aren't so bad. They're pretty convenient, although not as fun.
