How do you boil the food?
With a small flame or a bigger one?
Cooking with a too big flame is not a good idea, the food might not get cooked as you wish and you can burn it, but a medium flame is ok if you are in a hurry. Although, the small flame is recommended but it takes too much time for the food to boil.
How do you prefer to do this?

I just boil them like any normal cook would boil them. At first I will set the fire on high enough so that the food can be easily cook. When I notice that the food is getting tender then I will set the fire to a low one.

I prefer the small flame. It takes up a lot of time, but the food seems to be better. It has a better taste and it's supposed to be more healthy this way.
I learned this from my mother in law, who always boils food with a small flame.

I use a small flame. It is easier and healthier, at least this is what my mom tought me.
it is easier because i can do other stuff while the food is boiling, so i cook with a small flame.

Hi,

I usually adapt either of these two ways to boil veggies:
1. Combine veggies and some water in a microwave safe glass container, cover and cook on Max temp.

2. Boil water, add the veggies, cover with lid and cook on a medium flame till they are cooked.

Regards,
Minal
