Hmm.. I'm going to have to go with when I made bibimbap, a Korean dish. OMG, I made it like a pro my first time! And it was a real blast to make.

I wish I had a camera back then because it really looked awesome the way I presented it, and then I ate it and it was seriously heavenly.. and brought back so many memories of Korea...

Food is a powerful thing.

Food is a powerful thing.

Yes indeed. When I eat rich chocolate, it is an experience. It is like being taken to another place.

The year at high school marching band camp, that by default I was kind of in charge of the kitchen.

Every meal the routine worked out to be, clean up the last meal take a brake, sometimes an hour or more.

After relaxing awhile, I would start thinking OK what part of the next meal will be the biggest hold up.

So I would start for the kitchen, the other parents/chaperones would ask where are you going theres plenty of time.

I would answer that _______________ is going to take the most time, so I'am going to get a start on it.

I would be in the kitchen a short time when another parent would come in saying, I was looking at the menu, and I think ___________ needs to be started on now also.

As meal time neared there was no rush, it became more of a game of we will be ready, so lets make sure it gets to the serving line a warm as possible at a time that it would not cool off to much.

and then all right we are ready to serve, it's time to serve, someone go tell the band director it meal time now!

The most laid back fun kitchen setting, I have ever enjoyed.

Sounds like it would have been fun. Are you a chef by occupation these days?

Not regulerly.

Did everything but the fry baskets, for PIGGLY WIGGLY, for three days, at county fair, that was three weeks ago.

Had a great BBQ for my dads bday Saturday.

If I could get into a kitchen for what I make and the same beny's I thing I would jump.
