One of my favourite desserts is junket.My grandma makes it from a pint of just-warm full cream milk, a dessert spoon of sugar and a teaspoon of Rennet. Poured into individual bowls with a little nutmeg grated on top and allowed to cool, it's superb on its own or (extravagantly) with a dollop of clotted cream.
Could you recommend other junker recipes? I've heard they are quite different in other parts of the world... :p

It's some type of bacteria agent that causes the eventual thickening of milk or milky liquids, I think.

Sort of like what it would do for cheese.

When we were kids, there actually was this desert by the name Junket that came like pudding in the stores. it was prepared like pudding and thickened in the fridge for a few hours. It had rennet in it.
