So, as yummy as food is for eating, it can also be great for many other things as well. I started this thread to present a bunch of cleaning suggestions for some food items. You're invited, of course, to add more...
Vodka: "Removes mold and mildew from caulking in your shower and gets rid of residue at the bottom of flower vases"
Molasses: "Great for getting grass stains off of shoes"
Tang: "Put some in your toilet and let sit for 20 minutes, then swish and flush, your bowl will sparkle"
Nonstick cooking spray: "Coat the grille of your car before going on a long trip; when you get back, just hose off the bugs"
Olive oil: "Mix one cup with 1/4 cup white vinegar to make 'the best furniture polish you can find'"
Ketchup: "It takes tarnish off copper"
