So, as yummy as food is for eating, it can also be great for many other things as well. I started this thread to present a bunch of cleaning suggestions for some food items. You're invited, of course, to add more...

Vodka: "Removes mold and mildew from caulking in your shower and gets rid of residue at the bottom of flower vases"

Molasses: "Great for getting grass stains off of shoes"

Tang: "Put some in your toilet and let sit for 20 minutes, then swish and flush, your bowl will sparkle"
Nonstick cooking spray: "Coat the grille of your car before going on a long trip; when you get back, just hose off the bugs"

Olive oil: "Mix one cup with 1/4 cup white vinegar to make 'the best furniture polish you can find'"

Ketchup: "It takes tarnish off copper"
;)

Oh.. those are great advice! Thank you for sharing.
The furniture polish is a great idea. I keep using polish i find in stores and i am not completely happy :D
I think being able to use food in other purposes is great.

So I see that it is more on the other uses of food that you can find around your kitchen. I think that I could contribute to this thread. We can also use them for medicinal purpose, one of the food ingredient that you can use for medicinal purpose is garlic which is proven to help the heart.

Yes, I think that this thread is really necessary to clean our house without spending more in cleaning our kitchen or whatever that we might want to clean. I think that I can add some to this thread. WE can also try cleaning the stain on clothing by rubbing it with some lemon. It will help loosen those stains.

Oh.. those are some tips :)
I only know a few..
I know that if you wash your hair with egg and rinse it with vinegar it gives it a certain shiny aspect and it also fills it with vitamins.
Brushing your teeth with lemon salt is a great idea, it whitens the teeth.
