does the egg yolk harden when you boil it?

The yolk doesn't harden. It just gives the whole dish a look very close to a cream, although it's liquid.
The mousse you put in the milk, however, does harden. When you place it in the milk it's just like some regular mousse, but after a minute or two it hardens a bit, it looks kind of like a puffy snowball :)
