Have you ever been to a food festival?

I have yet to attend one, but it is certainly on my must do/see list.

I've never been to an actual food festival but have been to three things that are somewhat close:

1. A Sysco Food Show - Basically Sysco is a big food distributor, we order most of our food items through them. Brand representatives highlight the products they distribute, chefs put on displays, lots of taste testing and samples.:)

2. A small city chili cook off - May not sound like much but I learned a lot at that event. While some participants were secretive quite a few shared their tips and tricks with me, and it wasn't limited to just chili.

3. Green Bay Packer Tail Gate Parties - Awesome food, people, and atmosphere. Always a good time and if you take the time to talk with people you can learn a lot.

I really want to get to the National Baby Food Festival (http://www.nbff.org/), that would be the highlight of my life

Missingarrow, do you have a baby?

I think it would be any babies dream to go to the National Baby Food Festival.

Personally I am to go to a chocolate festval that is held on the mainland.

I also hope to go to "A Bite of Nanaimo" where many local restaurants provide samples of some of their best menu items:p

Missingarrow, do you have a baby? No baby for me...

I was trying to be sarcastic. I found it comical that there was even such a festival.
