Hi just wondering how many people put those baking cups under muffins when they make them?

I rarely do this, and would be more inclined to do it if I was making cupcakes...Just wondering...Also does it impact your decision to use the bkaing cups if you have company coming?

:D :p

Why is there so much garbage in these forums?

If I'm making muffins for at home I don't use the baking cups. If I am making full size or oversized muffins to take somewhere I use the cups. Mini muffins which is what I normally do don't get the cups.

I don't know why... I suppose because I normally take food to work and with the paper wrapping they are less messy.

It's been a while since I made muffins - and they are usually corn or blueberry. But I haven't used those baking cups that I can remember. I just coat the muffin tins with a cooking spray.

I like to use the Texas muffin pans for making big giant muffins!

I wouldn't use them for making muffins because I don't think they give you the same look. They look more like cupcakes to me and one of my most loved things about muffins is the way they puff out at the top. But I haven't used muffin pans either. I haven't seen them in my shops over here.

Best of luck

These types of muffin pans aren't really good for making cupcakes anyway, since the size of them would make the cupcakes too big and too much for small children to try to eat.

When a small child devours up the small ones, he or she is done with it and can later go back for another one. With the Texas size, you'd just be wasting your money.

Small children can only eat so much before they start to get full because their little stomachs are much smaller than ours.
