Food Photography

Just curious, how often does everyone take pictures of their food? Do you display your food nicely or just take the photos the way the food is with no special preparations?

I very seldom take pictures of what I cook. However, if it is a family holiday, or if I am catering, etc I will take a picture of the "spread" along with the people to remeber the day.

Sometimes when I get really carried away with nice china, silverware, charger plates, flower arrangments, lace tablecloth etc, etc I will take a picture of the setting before the people and the food mess it all up! LOL
