Tonight I made a recipe with Sage in it and since I didn't have any sage I had to go to the grocery store to buy some. There was Ground Sage and Rubbed Sage, also Dry and Fresh. What is Rubbed Sage and why is it rubbed? Do you like your sage rubbed or do you prefer it some other way?

I like fresh and dried herbs, fresh is usually best in my opinion, but herbs are herbs and they usually make food more yummy.

any fresh herb needs to be "rubbed" That process releases the natural oils that makes it taste good !
