6 Sub rolls.
1-1/2 cups each of sliced;
Onions,
Green Bell Peppers,
Celery (optional).
Small bunch of chopped cilantro (optional).
1/4 cup butter.
1/4 cup olive, canola or soybean oil.
1-1/2 to 2 pounds shaved steak.
12 slices White American cheese.
Seasonings;
1 tsp garlic powder.
1 tsp salt.
1 tsp ground black pepper.
1 tsp onion powder.
1 tsp Adolbo seasoning.
1 tsp cajiun seasong.
Heat butter and half of oil in large skillet over medium hight heat. Add sliced veggies.
Add seasonings. Cover and let steam slightly to cook veggies. Remove cover and finish uncovered. Water will evaporate and veggies will start ro brown slightly.
Turn heat down.
Meanwhile, heat remaining half of oil in another large skillet over medium high heat. Add shaved steak. Cook fast and let it slightly brown.
Mix hot cooked meat with hot cooked vegiges. Adjust seasonings if needed or desired. Add cil;antro at this time, if desired.
Place cheese slices on sub rolls. Spread hot meat / veggie mixture on top of cheese in rolls. If desired, you can also put lettuce and tomatoes in rolls. Serve with steak fires.
