Here we go again!
Seems that E-coli has reared its ugly head again - this time in crops of Romaine Lettuce.
How and why does this crap keep on happening? Why is this train wreck allowed to continue?!!

Because someone keeps poopin' on da lettuce?

Any links? Any brands being recalled? I've got one heart left I was going to use tonight. The other two were grilled, but this one will be eaten as is.

Well, fertilizer IS used for growing things.
I'd rather hear of it being used THERE and not by sick demented terrorists who make bombs with it!!

A friend of mine was recently sickened with E-coli as a result of eating tainted lettuce. I was just talking with my neighbor the other day about how we never had as many food-borne illnesses growing as we do now. It's like every time I turn on the news there's a different outbreak or food being recalled. Pretty scary. My family will be staying away from Romaine as well as other lettuce for now.

It probably more than likely is over now, otherwise you would not have been able to get it.

You can't.
You wouldn't know it until, sadly, you end up getting sick from (eating) it.
The best way is to do some research online or listen to the news.

So, it means that it is occasionally and area by area? Thanks.
