Do you wear a chef's hat in the kitchen? Do you have a chef's hat?
Just curious..
I don't have one myself. I just wear an apron in the kitchen.

Nope, no hat. I have a large , white apron that I wear. Actually, two of them. One to wear and one to wash. :)
Because of my hair and beard if I have company over I will wear two hairnets. One over my hair, one over my beard.
And NO, NO pictures will be forthcoming !! LOL

No hat no apron. I guess I associate aprons with my grandmother who always wore one.
Silly really as it does keep you clean in the kitchen. I use lots of paper towels and hand towels. I do have an apron so now you guys have mentioned it I think I will resurrect it and give it some use.
I don't wear a hat.

Hi,
I also don't like to were hats though I don't oppose it .I think this is just to prevent the fall of the hair in food.

I wear an apron, no hat. When I worked in the restaurant business I had to have a hairnet for my hair, and one for my beard, and then put my glasses on. It took me a while to "suit up" LOL
I also carry a tea towel in the apron ties for wiping my hands off and sometimes a clean one draped over my left shoulder to help remove hot items from the oven when I don't want to mess with gloves or hot pads etc.

I don't own a chef's hat. I would feel silly wearing one at home as I'm just a novice cook. I own an apron but almost never wear it.
