Malicious website?

I keep getting this on all of my computers and on every page I go to here.
Did something change in the last 24 hours? Maybe with any new advertisers?

Well, whadaya know... I can't post pics anymore. All the features/options aren't loading. My anti virus is preventing them. I was going to post the screenshots I saved.
Something about an exploit link to a known exploit site being here. And also a phishing and social engineering site. It says my computer might be compromised along with my identity.

When I try and post or preview I get the following message......,

But when I try again it works ok.?


Plus the emoticons and all the stuff at the top ( Bold, Italics,Font,post picture etc) are frozen when using the advanced dialogue box. Or have I done something stupid ?

My computer just got stuck. I was getting a pop-up from Acrobat Reader 7!

I was away for the weekend. Just got back.

As though it FROZE!! I was forced to shut down & restart.

Sounds like some hacker got in and has tainted the forum with a spambot of some kind. I'll look around to see what else might have happened.

I sent a pm to Tyler, asking him what is going on.

Some of the things that we were able to do, we can't now, such as posting pics, moving and merging threads, etc.. I'm not happy with these new changes.

It sounds like a cruel joke or prank by some hacker!!

Working on it guys. My server got hacked and it added malicious Javascript throughout all my sites... I'm working hard on fixing it... stay tuned.

Is anyone still experiencing any problems? I would recommend deleting your cache and cookies (at least from CookingForums.net) and then closing your browser and doing a hard refresh on our forum. It's possible that you may still have the infected files in your cache from when we fixed it.

Please let me know if anyone is still having issues as it should be clean now, but let me know.

If you are still having the same problem as yesterday, you may have picked up the virus. I got rid of it with Spybot S & D and Malwarebytes. I think that Spybot removed it.

AVG was picking up and blocking the site, which seemed to originate from a chinese internet provider.

I don't claim to be computer knowledgeable. Maybe Tyler or one of the other computer guys can help.

I just logged off the forum completely, then logged back in, as Tyler suggested, to erase all of the previous cookies from the forum.

This should help delete any malicious spambots or viruses left from the old cookies when the forum went bonkers.

Chowhound, I don't see the virus anywhere anymore, but I do get a Security Token error when I try to Mark Forums Read. I have one of my programmers looking into this now and will get back to you.

Sorry about that. Yes, my servers were infiltrated yet again with the same virus. I changed all the server passwords this time around and the virus has been removed. Hopefully this does not occur again!
