Does anyone here eat raw garlic regularly or take garlic supplements/tablets?

Do you feel your health or immune system has benefited from this?

Just curious..

:D

I love garlic and use it in my dishes as often as pepper. Garlic has many benefits going back thousands of years if you look at chinese medecine. And yes, I also take a supplement... I LOVE All alliums, garlic, chives, leeks etc:

I too LOVE GARLIC! I eat it raw, cooked, carmelized and so on. I know it is a blood cleaner and does help the immune system too. I would have to go look it up but I might have the time for that after I get back to chicago but I am traveling right now.

I don't take em, though I might try em if I remember.
My dad always goes on about how garlic, rice and onions are the best foods on the planet! But he's probably right.
Plus it keeps the vampires away :D

I am also a fan of garlic. I love it roasted.

I took it as a supplement years ago but can't remember whether made me feel better or not.

Here is a litle something I keep in the frig most of the time as a side dish, or a topping for fish, meat, etc.

I also have been known to boost the number of cloves of garlic :)

Great Garlic Olives recipe

14 ounces pitted Kalamata olives, drained, minced or chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 large cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves

Marinate drained olives in the olive oil, garlic and oregano in a covered container for a minimum of four hours, the longer the better.

I luurve garlic!...Theirs just something with it that makes the food more tasty. They said that garlic reduces high-blood pressure. I dont know if it has been proven yet but either way, garlic is good. Just dont smell your breath after eating one...:p

I never eat raw garlic, but have eaten roasted garlic once in a while. I heard that one of the benefits of eating garlic is in the heart, although I don’t fully understood the benefits I really like the taste of roasted garlic in my mouth. I like to eat it together with the roasted peanuts.

I've never taken any garlic supplements... I'm not even sure I know if I've ever heard of such tablets.
I use garlic in my dishes quite frequently, though. I'm not an expert in naturist healt issues, but I've heard a lot of things about the benefit raw garlic can have on one's health.
Eating too much or eating it on an empty stomach can cause stomach ache.

I only eat garlic in the food and really dislike the smell :D

Never thought about eating it raw or getting supplements. It is indeed very healthy, that's for sure. Sometimes I do get a bit sick from it, maybe my liver is not as pleased with onions and garlic as it used years ago.
