Where has Mario Batali gone to? Does anyone know?
Looks like he's left the Food Network.
Has he moved on to greener pastures?
He's not mentioned, listed or even seen in Iron Chef America now.

I have heard that he is employed as a sous chef at one of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants. :D

Really Peter?
I had heard that he was appearing in a series of episodes of "What Not To Wear", on TLC, in case he gets another photo op with the first lady. Something about orange crocs and shorts... :D

He was often hard to get along with.

Don't remember where I read this, but I think he said he has too much going on with all of his restaurants and Iron Chef was requiring too much of his time that he needed to spend on the restaurants.

That's part of the reason why he became so irritated, stressed out and hard to get along with.
He's been on the Fod Network since its infancy in the mid 90's.
His first known appearance, I remember, was on the show Chef Dujor, where prospective chefs had the chance to get some exposure and hopefully a cooking show on the network, which he's had several
of them.
Tyler Florence also made his TV debut on that same show, as did Emeril & others.

Yeah I remember his early show. The stage was like a little Italian home setup and he really knew his stuff and made some great recipes. Mario went MIA for now.

He's no longer with the Food Network, I don't think.

I'm sure he has personal restaurants. Visiting one of his would be nice. I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap either but hey sometimes the price is worth the meal
