1 whole cabbage
2-3 medium onions, sliced thin
lots of butter
pkg. of wide noodles

Slice the cabbage into strips. As thick or thin as you like. I like them on the thicker side as they do cook down. I parboil my sliced cabbage, but you don't have to.

Melt butter 1 whole stick in large fry pan. I use my electric frypan. Add onions and cook just until softened. Meanwhile parboil your cabbage if you want. Add to onions and cook slowly to soften. Add salt and plenty of pepper.

Cook noodles til al dente. Drain and add to onion/cabbage mixture. Add more butter, possibly another stick. Stir all together. Add more salt and pepper. Slowly cook til all ingredients come together.
