I found this one from Paula Deen and it is amazing! I wouldn't make it any other way. :)

1 pound mixed ground beef and sausage, browned and drained
1 medium onion, diced
1 green bell pepper diced
2 cups chopped celery
2 (28-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 (28-ounce) can whole, peeled tomatoes
Ground cumin
Chili powder
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 package chili seasoning mix
Shredded cheddar, sour cream, chopped green onions, for garnish

In a skillet brown ground beef and sausage, drain and set aside.
Spray large pot with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Add the onion, green pepper, and celery and saute briefly. Stir in the diced and whole tomatoes. Add cumin and chili powder, to taste, and cook for about 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add the beans, browned meat, and chili seasoning. Partially cover, and let simmer for 4 hours.

My recipe from the first time I made chili. It was very yummy:p:p

Zesty Turkey Chili

Takes about 1 hour 20 minutes to make (max)

Oil
Medium sized package of extra lean ground turkey
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp dried oregano flakes
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp chipotle pepper
1 tsp salt plus a few extra shakes
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 packages of vegetable bouillon prepared according to package
1 medium white onion
2 tbsp fresh minced chives
1 red pepper
1 carrot
2 garlic cloves minced
1 fresh tomato
½ zucchini
1 cup frozen corn
398 ml brown beans
156 ml tomato paste
A few peas
About ¼ cup medium salsa
1 (7 oz can chopped green Chile peppers)
water (add if it is too thick once everything else except sour cream is in pot)
1 cup light sour cream
Large bowl grated cheddar cheese
Multi grain tortilla chips

Heat the oil in large pot on medium heat. Place the ground turkey in the pot and cook until brown. Add all the spices and herbs, onion and chives, and cook for a few minutes. While this is cooking prepare all the vegetables including chili peppers. Set aside. Prepare the 2 packages of vegetable bouillon according to package. Add to pot. Now add all the vegetables. Stir occasionally. Now add the tomato paste (with a little extra water), salsa, and beans. Boil for 5-10 minutes (the longer the better). Then add the sour cream and simmer for min 15 minutes. Serve with broken up multi grain tortilla chips, and cheddar cheese.

Quick Turkey Chili

Serves 4

Ingredients

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 chipotle chile en adobo, coarsely chopped, with 1 tablespoon sauce
1 pound ground turkey
1 (12-ounce) Mexican lager-style beer (I used Warstiener)
2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, with the juice of one can, drain the other.
1 (15 1/2-ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 15 ½ -ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
Sliced scallions, cilantro sprigs, avocado, sour cream, grated Monterey jack cheese, and/or tortilla chips, for garnish, optional

Directions

1. Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, salt, chili powder, and oregano and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and the chipotle chile and sauce; cook 1 minute more. Add the turkey, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook until the meat loses its raw color, about 3 minutes. Add the beer and simmer until reduced by about half, about 8 minutes. Add the tomatoes--crushing them through your fingers into the skillet--along with their juices and the beans; bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until thick, about 10 minutes.

2. Ladle the chili into bowls and serve with the garnishes of your choice.

3. Cook's Note: A skillet's larger surface area reduces sauces faster than simmering in a saucepan.

Note This is Really tasty. puree the chipotles in adobo in the blender or food processor and use a tablespoon of the paste. I would cut that back a bit for heat pansies like myself. Topped it with some shredded jack or cheddar cheese, a little light sour cream and mmmmmm GOOD!

Looks like Semigourmet and Liketobake could be making Thanksgiving Chili! Sounds very good! I like turkey because there's less grease.
