Method

1. Heat oil in a pressure pan; add mustard and add cumin seeds; allow them to splutter.
2. Add the onions and fry till translucent.
3. Add the ginger & garlic paste.
4. Add the tomatoes and cook till they are mushy and then add the coriander and chilli powder.
5. Add the lentils and cook till they are soft.
6. Release the steam and add chopped spinach and pressure cook for a whistle more.
7. Add enough water and simmer for a minute.
8. Garnish with cilantro. It goes well with hot rice, roti or chapati.

I haven't tried it before, i usually go for palak(spinach) paneer. I have to try it first to know how it going to taste......

yeah dips Indian recipes are so spicy and tasty... and ut seems a good recipe I will try your recipe sure.. -:)
