Licorice and Pistachio ice cream are 2 of my favorite ice creams and I don't mean together :)

Does anyone here have a tried and proven recipe for both of these ? From what I have seen on the web, the licorice ice cream is made from black licorice infused in the hot milk when making the Crème anglaise and then strained.

I did find one Pistachio recipe that infused finely processed pistachio's in the hot milk. That one looked interesting but I haven't made it yet.

nice! Too bad you have to through away the nuts when you are done with the infusion though. Oh well

Some coarsely chopped Pistachios are stirred through the ice cream though but I know what your saying :)

It does look like a good recipe though, as well as the website.

Yes, I'm convinced that recipe looks the real deal. Now to hunt down some pistachio nuts and almond essence.:)
