thanks- should be very simple. Same loaf, only with milk insted of ketchup, and sauce insted of more ketchup & brown sugar.

I've never thought of using CofM soup for my meatloaf. I may have to give this a try! Maybe add a packet of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix to the soup instead of the beef granules.

I use a recipe that calls for that soup mix, Mama. Also, for the crumbs it calls for stovetop stuffing. It's Ol-Blue's melt in your mouth meatloaf if you want to do a search for the recipe. Cheddar cheese, too. mmmm, lol

ETA, that stuff goes IN the meatloaf, not for the gravy like Barb's recipe.

The onion soup mix would work great Mama. It's my substitute for the mix.

Actually Barb I was thinking of adding the soup mix to the CofM to make the gravy.

I rummaged around a couple forums I used to go to and saw she hadn't posted on either of them a while. I'm not sure where she went. The recipe is on (shhh, dc) ;^)
I always have beefy onion soup and stovetop on hand now, lol.

That's what I do Mama. I add my substitute to the soup to pour over the meatloaf.
