Butter substitute?

:confused: :confused: Can I substitute oil in a cookie recipe when it calls for butter? I prefer to use olive oil and I almost never cook with butter. I'm not sure how or if I could switch the two in a cookie recipe though.

You can buy a margerine that is made with olive oil. That is what I would reccomend. The brand we have here is called Olivinia (spelling). It is the best substitute because oil will change the consistency of your cookies.
