Hi everyone...thought I would find a group to join that enjoyed baking as much as I do. Have been trying to get my "business" off the ground but Michigan is not the place...it's so dead here the ghosts are leaving along with all the survivors.
Been cooking and baking for at least 25 years now...made a cat birthday cake yesterday for my daughter. She's grown but hasn't outgrown cats! Make cookies about every 3 days as my grown son will hound me if I don't...he's addicted to them. Used to bake all my own bread but don't do that much any more...mostly cakes and pies and cookies.
When I'm not baking, I try to sell on Ebay...started that when I lost my job and needed income and have kept it up...don't make enough but it keeps me off the streets! Started with all the books and collectibles I accumulated over 20 years and then add other things as I go along.
Have tons of recipes in my collection now and started off with the original BC cookbook...
