I've always made cookies from scratch, but someone recently told me that cookies made from cake mixes are delicious and much easier. Does anyone have a recipe that they have used with good results? I would like to try making these cookies and would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

I have not heard of this before. I have heard of cookie mixes. They are basically the same design as cake mixes but for cookies not cake..

Cake mix cookies
INGREDIENTS:
1 box of cake mix (any kind)
1/2 cup vegetable oil or butter
2 eggs
2 cups of add ins: nut, candy, raisins etc.
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheet(s). Mix together cake mix, vegetable oil or butter, and eggs in a large bowl. Use 2 tablespoons water for crisp cookie or 1/4 cup for soft cookie. Mix in the add ins. Drop by spoonfuls. Or roll into balls and flatten. Or form into roll, chill and cut into slices. Use your imagination. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-10 minutes.
The combo's are endless!

Thank you, pdgcookie, for the cake mix cookie recipe. It sounds great and easy, too! I like the idea of being able to vary the recipe with nuts, chips, dried fruit, etc. I also appreciate the hint about adding a little more water for softer cookies. Thanks, again! I'll be trying it soon!!

Thank you for that recipe... I haven't been able to find one for a while!
