To All Members,
If you choose and want to be addressed and called only by your user name(s), then that is YOUR choice. You have that right.
No one is authorized to post your REAL NAME until or unless you've given them the autorization to do so. Or unless you want to include it yourself in your posts or threads.
This is soley to protect your privacy here. And if anyone here posts your real name without your permission, then they are in violation of the rules! The purpose of that is, as you already know, so that your personal info in your profile is kept private. I'm sure that you all would agree with me on that.
A member here took it upon himself to post and address me by my real name without my permission to let him do it. That was never done before, and I won't allow it to start now or ever! I had to nip it in the bud. I gave him a very stern warning, letting him know that if he does it again, That he will be disiplined.
Turns out that he WAS SUSPENDED for 3 days on another issue.
I would never ever call any of you by your real names until or unless you told me that I could, Nor will I ever go snooping into your profiles trying to find it. Supposing someone that you know who is a hacker, Internet hijacker or an Internet Schoolyard Bully signs up here and finds out your real name. That is why it is so important to keep your identidy private!
Anyone who does that (addresses you by your real name, especially without your say-so) will face the pure consequences of being disiplined. First offense; they will be warned and their post edited. 2nd offense carries a 3-day ban or suspension. Third offense mean that they will be permenantly banned from the forum with no chance at all of ever coming back.
There are some things here that I will allow, but THAT ISN'T one of them. That, in my book, is an invasion of your privacy.
