Hello all!
I have been reading here for quite some time and decided to join in. I have read some terrific threads, learned some new information and have been able to make the day-to-day chore of cooking an little easier.
Me? I am self employed making high quality cutting boards and butcher blocks. I made the first one in 1993 and have been making them prefessionally for the past 5 years after I was forced into a very early retirement.
My wifes job is such that she just doesn't have time to prepare meals during the week so that job falls on me. Anything that I find that helps keep us fed well with as little waste as possible is of interest. When family gathers, it is mostly centered around food and the meals are a delight. Over much to quickly.
I look forward to reading more posts and adding when I can. I will be happy to helps with any cutting board questions.
