Hello everybody!
Let's talk about what do you prefer? Fast food or home food.
Do you like to cooking?
Does your husband/boyfriend/cat help you in the kitchen? First, I would like to welcome you to Cookingforums.net. We have a great group of foodies here, and look forward to your participation real soon.
If you are referring to fast food as burger joints, I would be lying if I said I didn't like it. What I don't care for is the heartburn it gives me an hour later.
When i am unable to have home cooking, I will seek out a Mom & Pop joint for lunch, or a place like Subway or Jersey Mike's where I can get a freshly made sandwich with fresh ingredients. Me and the wife have places we go to that have home style cooking, so we have teh best of both worlds.
Since I am the husband in the family, I will say that in the past two years i have taken over more of the cooking, as well as baking all of the bread we consume. My lucky bride does not mind this at all, and I enjoy my kitchen time.

I grew up on Fast Food as a kid. In my culinary education, I became more disgusted by it.
Then, if you see the movie "Food, Inc." or ready any Michael Pollan book, you'll never go to a drive through again.
Have you seen how fat we are? It's not from home cooking. Check out any of the above mentioned to see how our food is processed. It's disturbing.

Thank you for answering. As for me, sometimes I like to eat in the joints when i'm hungry, but of course the home food is better. And i think it's ok to eat fast food if you don't eat it very often.

I love to cook and eat the food in my own kitchen. Fast food is good everyone once in a while but it always makes me feel terrible after I eat it

I like home food mostly. I do have a few places I will go out to eat every once in a while. but usually not fast food. I do like to cook and like to try new recipes every now and then.
And Welcome to the Forum Lancaster!

Nothing beats home cooked food. Fast food is okay once in a while and specially if you're in a rush. But I'm still for home cooked food. Yes my partner helps me in the kitchen and we love doing it. It's one of our ways to have some bonding time.

For me, I would prefer home food! I can do whatever I want with it and add my own flavor and style to it. But if in times when I need to rush things up, I think I'd go for fast food. But still, nothing beats the way my mom cooks so home food is still the best.

I love home cooked, but sometimes when you're in a rush it's good to cheat. My breakfast trick is to add chopped fruit (like strawberries, bananas, peaches...) to the shake-n-bake pancake mixes (the type that comes in a bottle - just add water!). That way I feel like I'm actually cooking something and my kids are getting a sneaky dose of fruit!

I love a lot of the fast food places, but there aren't a lot of those places in my immediate area, so I only eat it about twice a month. Because I work from home I almost have to make a special trip to go to a Wendy's or MacDonalds.
I like to cook, but I also need to cook, so sometimes that puts a different outlook on my cooking.
"Fast food" to me is putting a can of Snow's chopped clams into a pot of garlic and oil Pasta Roni. That's a pretty fast meal (lol).

I prefer cooking at home but I've been known to stop for fast food on occasion. We've got some nice little restaurants here that we frequent that have more home-cooked type meals that are really good that we'll stop at if we're on the road rather than fast food.

The only time I don't have a home made meal is if I am not at home.

When I am on the road, my preferred fast food joints are...... grocery stores.
I like to get stuff from their deli sections. It is usually cheaper, and I get a better selection!
