What kind of sausages tantilize your taste buds? What do you eat sausages with? What kind of dishes do you put sausages in? Do you make your own sausages? Do you buy your sausages at a butcher?

For me, breakfast sausages are my sausage of choice. I also love smokies with cheese:p :p :p I don't have any special recipes for them. Just the standard sausages and eggs, or smokies and bun. I generally by them just at a regular supermarket.

If you have any special sausage recipes, please post them! I know there are some members who love fried foods, so this thread is for them!

:D

OMG a topic to die for !! I love any sausage. Big ones, little ones, fresh, smoked, artisan or store bought. I will wait for others to jump in though so I don't hog the show. :)

This recipe my sister makes the night before Thanksgiving and Christmas and then pops it into the oven in the morning when evreyone is asleep and/or busy.

MORNING CASSEROLE
5 slices of bread ( Plain white works the best)
1 1/2 c. grated cheese ( I use a combo bag like "Mexican Mix)
6 eggs, beaten
1 lb. bulk sausage hot or mild, your choice ( I take Italian sausage out of the skins)
2 c. milk
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook and drain sausage. Place bread slices in the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish. Pour sausage over bread evenly. Except for cheese, mix all remaining ingredients well and pour over sausage and bread. Sprinkle cheese on top of mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 or 40 minutes.
Put together the night before and place in the refrigerator, covered. Bake the next morning. Serves 6.

Oooh, pork fat! Yummmm! Sausages fried in pork fat! Yummm yummmmm. When I see 3 sausages lying glistening on the plate, next to potato pancakes and a puddle of scrambled egg, I am Happy and can forget that Bush is the President of the United States. :D

BTW, Vote on Tuesday!

Ps. My favourite sausage is the fat Polish sausage, the fatter the better. Altho those little processed thingies wid the cheez inside are good too!
