Does anyone have any pets out there?

I have a 7 year old toy poodle mixed with terrier. Her name is Sasha and she is blind.

Here is her picture.

My girlfriend and I raise Collies for show. We have 3 that are 14 weeks old, But I must confess that I seem to be too stupid to post a picture, even after searching. I also have a great recipe for you "Like to Bake", how about this for Sasha. I haven't looked, but there are probably a lot of "bakeable" ( ??) recipes on the web for our pet friends. My girls like this one:

Gourmet Dog Biscuits
12-16 ozs. raw liver
1 1/2 lbs. white flour
8 ozs. Quaker Oats
3 bouillon cubes, (meat or chicken flavored)
Approx. 1 cup water
2 eggs, beaten
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 3 baking sheets. Chop the liver finely, by hand or in food processor. Mix flour and oats, crumble in the bouillon cubes, add eggs and the chopped liver. Add enough water to make a firm but slightly sticky dough. Spread evenly on the sheets about 1/2" thick. Dip a small dog-biscuit cutter in flour before cutting out each portion. Remove uncut parts. Spread out on another cookie sheet and repeat.Bake 1 hour. Store in airtight container in fridge for 2 weeks.

Hi Liketobake! Your puppy is very cute, but I noticed that you have very hairy arms!

Hello momof2

Those arms are not mine, they are my dad's.

:D

Hi nochef&Justlovesfood.yum

Posting a picture is not too hard. What you need to do it go to manage attachements at the bottom (you must skroll down the page). Then you upload it on to the site. As long as the file size is not too big, it should work

Good luck
:)

Your welcome.

Wow Star is a cutie:)

I don't know much about dog shows. Here we have a horse and hound fun show/competation every year at the vancouver island exhibition. One of my favourite events to watch. I used to do equestrian back in my younger days.

What kind of shows do your dogs go in?

:)

Point shows, mixed breed. We have fun and it is good competition and socialization.

I have a English cocker spaniel and an Australian Terrier cross. The cocker spaniel I bought from a pet shop which is really the last place you should buy a puppy from but I couldn't resist her. The other one I got from a dog's home.

I don't have a dog right now, but will have one soon. I have a spoiled cat I have had for 7 years he was abandoned at our old apt complex and they begged me to take him so I did. He does have some abandonment issues. Can't take a door closed between he and I. I start hearing meows and seeing paws under the door. For the first 3 years he would wake up screaming and run to me like a child running to mommy after a nightmare. It was sad. he has been a wonderful companion. here is his picture and his name is Meatball

Hi Mary

Meatball is so cute! I love the name too. What inspired you to pick it?

:D

It was a mistake actually. had mentioned to my husband that he acted like a meatball and he cracked up ad asked it that was what I named him, I told him no it was a comment, and he said he liked and thought it was cute. So it ended up sticking. Plus he answered it.

I have a kitty. Its name is Gorgo from the movie 300. I dunno its gender yet. She's just too small to see.
