I would like to know why commercial advertising is permitted in the signature blocks of these newbie posters (leeches). I don't have a problem with people posting their personal websites and blogs that are food related and are non-revenue generators for their owners, but the commercial sites take away potential revenue from the owner of cookingforums.net. Also, these posters rarely (if ever) contribute content to the forum. Their presence is just free advertising for their personal business ventures. If they want to advertise, they should contact the site owner to do so, or they should be banned from the site.

I list my personal website, but everything there is free for the taking with no commercial links.

I've noticed the same thing, very annoying. I even got a PM from one of them today. We need better rules or more Mods, that are more aggressive.

there are many indian resturant in our town... i love the way they prepare chicken... spicy... i love it...
