Wash liver well under running water. Mix grated onions with lemon
juice and rub liver slices with them.
In a medium bowl, put liver slices. Add meat marinade, nutmeg,
cinnamon, soy sauce or tomato sauce and little salt and pepper. Cover bowl
and leave to marinate from 3-6 hours. (In summer leave to marinate in the
fridge).
Heat the grill to high heat. Add liver slices and grill until tender.
Serve right away.

of using lamb liver, marinate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
