I India there is no shortage of pure and fresh milk, so is for my family. But my kids 4 and 9 yrs old don’t like to drink milk saying it bad taste. How can I make it more tasty? I don’t like to add medicated supplements.

You could try using it as the basis for a smoothie, wizz it up with fruit that will sweeten it and add a different flavour. Fruit and calcium in one go !

One percent milk also makes a very frothy low-cal topping for desserts if sweetened with a little Equal or Splender. And your favorite extract for flavor.
Your stick blender, if you have one, is the perfect tool for this because the chopping blade's high-speed spin will whip up the milk until it has the consistency of softly whipped egg whites or whipping cream.

I agree, adding some fruit can work well and would be very healthy. You can also try to heat the milk up and add a teaspoon of honey. We love to do that in winter, it's great when you're hoarse too. Just make sure the milk is very hot when you put the honey in otherwise it won't resolve properly.
Or mix a bit of cocoa and cinnamon into hot milk, that tastes also nice. Maybe you got some other spices there that give a bit of a sweetish taste, I'm not so familiar with Indian spices.
Another thing you can try is preparing sweet meals with milk instead of giving the kids the milk to drink. After all, it doesn't matter whether they drink it or eat it in form of pancakes. Sweet dishes also go very nice with fruit.
Here's a recipe for a semolina pudding. My favorite fruits for this are plums or cherries but you can serve it with any kind of fruit and it goes quite quick:
1 l milk
a pinch of salt
20 g butter
150 g semolina
20 g cold butter, extra
2 eggs, separated
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
750 g fruit
(1) Add salt and butter to the milk and bring to boil.
(2) Whilst the milk is heating up, cook the fruit as indicated on the package. Keep it warm until you need it.
(3) When the milk starts boiling, stir in the semolina, reduce the heat and allow simmering for about 10 minutes until the mixture is quite thick. Stir frequently to avoid burning.
(4) Add the remaining butter, the slightly beaten egg yolks and the cinnamon to the pudding and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then carefully spoon them under the pudding. Mix in about one third of the fruit, spread the remaining fruit on top of the pudding for decoration, sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon and serve immediately.
You can also make a rice pudding or pancakes. My mother used to make sweet soups when we were small which we loved. One was a chocolate soup with rusks and the other one a vanilla soup with pasta and raisins. I still love them. Oh, and I would like to see the child that can resist a nice homemade chocolate cream (also very healthy if you don't add so much sugar and mix some fruit in).
If you need some more of these recipes, simply let me know what you would like to try, then I can post them here.
Hope this helps

When I holiday in UK, my nephews come with us to coffee shops and they love the hot milk with a drop of caramel flavour syrup - I tried it and its delicious. I bought a bottle of the syrup and have it myself sometimes (not a huge coffee fan). Its flavouring syrup, meant for adding to coffee's.

Hi shubh. I don't want to tell you how to suck lemons but surely you have tried the traditional sweet Lassi . Like Lassi, you could add sugar to the milk and flavour with rose water, cardamon, pulped strawberries, mango puree etc and even add some yogurt.
Hope this helps.

Hi shubh I know exactly what your kids mean, When I was little I refuse to drink milk...specifically fresh milk. We lived on a farm so used to get fresh milk daily. My sister love did but I could not get it down because of the smell. My mother used to make simple milkshakes. Just add fruit yogurt to make a simple milkshake. Or add frozen fruit to the mixture for a super cooler in the summer months.
I wouldn’t recommend add sugary flavoring, it is not particularly healthy for the kids. You can honey instead and use natural flavoring like vanilla pods to improve the smell.

Make banana shake, mango shake or vanilla shake it will be nutritious and also good for health. Like to my kid who is 4 yrs old I use to give him milk of different flavors by adding banana or vanilla in milk.
