Hey

I was just wondering if anyone uses cane sugar in their cooking and or baking? I knew about sugar caine (the real stuff), but I didn't know they made it into a powder until I saw an advertisement for it on a website someone linked to me.

If you use it:

how does it compare to granualted white sugar?

What are the benefits of using it to plain white sugar?

Does it taste much different?

If you know, how do the calories compare to plain white sugar?

thanks:)

Powdered sugar or 10X Confectioners' Sugar, as it is sometimes called, is mainly used for frostings and icings because of it powdery cinsistency and it's not "grainy" like regular granulated sugar.

Also, it is sometimes used in baking cakes and other sweet things.
