Need help with recipe - shrimp, pasta

I've never cooked shrimp (prawns in Aust) and want to put together a dish with shrimp as main ingredient and want to try something with a light creamy tomato sauce and english spinach (or maybe peas).

Could someone recommend a recipe for this?

I'm not really sure on the rules whether to add prawns first and then sauce or add prawns to sauce?

When I use prawns with pasta, I usually like to start by pan-searing them in fresh chopped garlic and butter. It's delicious! And then you can add the prawns to whatever else you decide to make.

I add the shrimp to the sauce for they cook very fast... in just minutes. And, if you overcook them they turn into something about as tasty as a rubber eraser.
