Does anyone plan to watch this show when it returns on June 7?

I wonder if anything new has been added to it.

Honestly not looking forward to it.
The past four have been lackluster to say the least. And this year's group doesn't look that promising.

I'll watch the episode when Alton Brown appears but that will probably be it.

Not really looking forward to it either, but I'll see how they make out in the 1st episode.

No one will be "Chopped" in that one, I don't think.

The first episode sported an elite all-star cast! Just About every FN star had appeared on the seasom premier.

Aaron McCargo Jr, Guy Fieri, Musahouro Marimoto, Robert Irvine, Ray-Ray, Sunny Anderson, Ted Allen, Duff Golden, Alton Brown and Giada DeLarentis were amoung the guests on the show in the first episode this evening to assist the contestants.

This was a great opportunity for Aaron to appear with the othe FN stars to give the contestants a little bit of wisdom on how to remain competetive in the contest! I think he did great!! It's been almost a year for him since he became the top winner in last year's contest!

Also, the 1st contestant was Chopped. Forgot who it was though, but it was one of the girls.

No one from the new crop stood out to me. I'll pass on them.

I just like to know why they were more excited to see that woman from Access Hollywood than the hosts. I'd be babbling on and on about seeing Alton if I were there!

I'd be trying to catch Aaron if I were there!

And BTW, I AM friends with him on Facebook.

No one really struck me either except maybe the Afro-American woman. But according to Bobby, Bob and Susan, the contests are supposed to be tougher this time.

I know, I would think people who are wanting to be on FN and are fans too would be impressed by the culinary star power there not some tabloid TV show reporter.

Has anyone seen the sow recently?

It's down to about 5 or 6 contestants now.

Is it just me, or is FN really struggling to get quality contestants on that show?

The only one left that really knows how to cook is Jeffrey.

They definitely could use some new talent and shows.

About the only show that really gets under my skin is that blasted Food Network Challenge, which is aired more times in a week than any other show on the network at all!!

I'm hoping & praying that someday soon, that the plug gets pulled on this old tired boring show!

I just think they need to pull the plug on the Next FN Star. The only possible reason I can imagine them using that show is to save the production costs on gambling with shows they think have merit.

I know if they ever approached me about my show (not holding my breath) and told me I had to do that monkey dance in order to get signed, I'd politely decline.

Thank God, it only comes on once a year!

I just couldn't bear to watch that every week of the year!!
