I have a few questions here: I keep a few vinegars around for different uses.
1) What Vinegars do you have in your cupboard?

2) What do you use the vinegars for?

3) How much sweeter is Mirin than Rice vinegar?

I keep of course distilled vinegar, I use it for marinating veggies, some other marinades, cleaning my coffee pot etc.

I also have Red wine vinegar I use for my barbecue sauce, marinades, salad dressings, etc.

Apple Cider Vinegar, I use for my barbecue sauce and not much else as yet.

Mirin which I use to make Teriyaki sauce, and some veggie marinades, or dressings.

I keep white vinegar, cider, red wine, white wine, malt, rice, and balsamic. I might have Mirin but I would have to search my cabinet.

The cider vinegar I drink and as a hair conditioning rinse; white vinegar gets used in my canning recipes and 1001 uses around the house and garden; and the other vinegars are for salads and other recipes. The malt vinegar is especially good on fries.

Well, I have cane vinegar and distilled white vinegar in my kitchen. I used the distilled vinegar for marinating and the cane vinegar mostly in cooking.

I got rice and white vinagar.

I don't see a reason to have more than that.

Thanks!

But it's not neccesary to keep repeating that.
