duck?

hi there, this is probably a stupid quistion but if im cooking a duck breast dose it have to be cooked throughly like chicken r can it be a bit rare like steak, any help appriciated thanks

Duck breast is usually cooked so that it is slightly pink in the center. Well done will make it dry. Ducks are not subjected to Salmonella problems.

Try googling "cooking duck breast" for some great suggestions and information. Duck breast is one of my favorite things to make and it really is sooooo delicious. Good luck.
