I saw these in the shop, while I was on holiday in France last year, I had to have a go at making them when I got home, they're really easy, & look the same as in the shop, but much cheaper. I'm making them for Valentines day.

Chic French Chocolate Strawberries

Cooking Time 6 mins
Ingredients

* 6 Strawberries
* 4½ oz/128g Dark Chocolate

Method

* Take 6 strawberries
* Slice off the green stalk so you get a nice flat surface
* Place the strawberries on greaseproof paper ½ inch/ 1.25cm apart
* Lay on a small dish ( I use a butter dish)

Heating the Chocolate

* Double Boiler Method
* Place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of hot water.
* Keep the heat on but don’t let the water boil or touch the base of the bowl.
* Place the chocolate in the bowl and melt the chocolate, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon.
* When chocolate has thoroughly melted pour over the strawberries.
* Make sure they are completely covered
* Leave to set

Equipment

* Heat proof bowl
* Saucepan

Cooks Tip

* You can refrigerate the chocolate strawberries but they have a better sheen if you leave them to set at room temperature.

Shopping List

* Strawberries
* Dark chocolate

So what would the outcome be like? Would it be like chocolate coated strawberries or should i use a mold that would hold all the chocolate?

Milk Chocolate. it is far less bitter than dark chocolate and is lighter in color. Or White Chocolate is also good to use.

Oh so I would just pour it over the strawberries? That's what's being done with ganache right?

Or just dip the strawberries halfway into it.
